COLUMBUS DIY

So this was by far the most insane DIY show I've ever seen or played. There were seriously like 10 kids crowd surfing at all times, even with no music. Besides the power going out every 5 minutes, everything was awesome. Anyone else? The next day I got on here to comment about the show and realized there wasn't even a thread for it.

yea holy shit! it totally tied with the last crazy last house on the left show and punk rock kareoke we had at the nude ranch a year ago for the best time i've ever had in columbus. That basement is sweet. I was talking to a dude at Cara bar monday night who plays in one point three and he said he played his first show ever in that basement in 97 or something like that. crazy.

It's weird there wasn't a thread on the forum about this show. There was a lot of people. maybe it was all over myspace?

I guess there were a few people filming throughout the night. It'd be sweet to get a hold of them. It was sweet to play but all 8 (!) of the other bands were sick. People went crazy for Locusta, Hooker Spit Windex totally killed it and Kurt Russell couldn't play one song without shit getting fucked up.

I don't remember riding home that night and the next morning my entire body felt like a bruise. so sick!

The basement sux. I woke up the next moring and all this dust came out of nose! But overall first tyme being there was prettt sick. I didn't like shit falling on me though during half the of show.

Yup... it was pretty kick ass... best first show I could have ever asked for even though the bass was out of tune and we had no PA... ha ha... Matt fest was better for SoAB... but that crackhouse show.... jeeeezus crist... fucking awesome.
By the way... Heath Deadger... I got that video on a disk I found in my basement... Next time I see one of you dudes I'll make sure to give it to you, it's pretty kick ass, it's all documentry style like.

nah it wasn't really on the net that much except for bands "profile pictures".
But it's cause we promote the fuck outta that shit.
Great show, one of my favs we've ever done at the crackhouse. May 12th death fest, May 19th, cannabis corpse. Hope to see ya'll there
