sorry i havent gotten ahold of you my internet has been shot to shit at home/ no yahoo at work.

(I wrote about the obama craze last year in a heath deadger song but I still voted for him and acknowledge both his merits and flaws.)

-Brian's blanketed statements and generalizations about punk, for example, "Punk is an identity cult that remains focused more on being a cushy, self-centered bohemian existence instead of being a relevant social force." woh. While I don't disagree completely, punk exists internationally as many different things for many different people, don't think you can really homogenize the punks. Plus where have you been lately?
- Sam McPheeters: "I don't know enough about punk rock at this point to make any statements about where its going."
"I don't feel like I'm involved. I haven't gone to shows in a long time..."
"I don't think hardcore has really been innovative since 1986"
Ok grandpa, then stfu. I'm so tired of hearing older people complain about today's hardcore and punk, when they have no fucking idea because they dropped out. I don't care who it is, this opinion is worthless

So stoked on this monthly zine! And the variety of writing styles, (Martin I need to reread yours again, maybe 10 more times actually). I want to write for next month's after I graduate. good job to everyone who is making this happen!
