I am an old guy. An old Straight Edge guy, which means I m NOT a jock-edge/hardline asshole into beating up people with beers, as long as they don't do the same to me.... I have been into sXe/hardcore since 1982 after seeing Minor Threat, 7 Seconds, Dag Nastyand many other early bands live, and learning the lifestyle. I grew up playing in bands in Columbus since '84...in fact some of your parentsmight have played in bands with me, or saw bands I was in at Bernies, Nealy B's, The Southberg, Apollos, Flamingo Isle, and many other old punk dives around here. I now play bass in a local band called Fools Crown.

This forum looks pretty cool..like an on-line zine for the locals...beauty job eh?

Hi I'm Zach G.-I play guitar/sing for Red Sun. I'm the odd one out, mostly because I don't have any real connection to the "scene" other than the band and also a few friends-but I'm normally out of the loop on just about everything. I go to shows and people don't bother me, which is fine. I'm fairly active in political organizing around OSU, especially in the anti-war movement and with the anti-government folks.
My new favorite place is the 15th house, mostly because I know people there and hope to do shows there in the future.
