Feminist zine needs several contributors, both male and female. This opportunity is open to anyone that can offer their interesting, well-communicated insight into the complexities of womanhood. Please pass this along to any of your friends that might be interested.

Contribution ideas:
1) Submissions- need to be diverse as possible, so consider taking a less-obvious approach to your ideas.
2) Page layout and graphic design [especially cover art]
3) Editing
4) Local distribution
5) Web maintenance
6) Anything you can think of! I want this to be as non-hierarchical as possible.

First I want to ask... What spectrum/wave of feminism are you looking at here? Second? Third? Post? Radical?

I can lend graphic design skills and other stuff, including cover art, if you want. Also an article, if it's the feminism I pseudo-prescribe to, about trans/queer issues in the larger feminist community.

I like the idea of publishing work that is diverse, balanced, relevant, and critically engaging. I'm afraid that if we were to develop this with a particular aim or niche in mind, it would border on propaganda. I would encourage anyone with an informed opinion to submit their work. My goal is to share ideas that could potentially motivate activism. I believe that, as long as the zine contains ideas that can be argued for/against or expanded upon, it serves our purpose. If you'd be OK with having a submission next to someone whose opinions differ from your own, please submit (but.. you know.. it's a feminist zine, so everyone will have common ground). All contributors would be involved in the editing process, so if you were to have a legitimate problem with something, you could argue your point and have it changed.

I tend to identify with radical feminist theory (some post feminism, but I hate calling it that). I think trans/queer issues would be a good addition. We definitely need cover art, too.
