Here's the deal:
We've been gigging around Ohio for almost two years, have recorded material, and are preparing for our second album. Join before April and you might even make it onto the seven inch we'll be recording soon!
I play bass and sing, there's a drummer, and we recently added another bass player. Yeah, we're different like that. Obviously we've got the rhythm section down, what we need is somebody who can pull screeches and screams from their amp like they dream in Metal Machine Music.
You will need to have a decent sized amp and cab to begin with, at least a half stack if you want to be heard over the basses.
A decent collection of overdrive, distortion, and fuzz pedals doesn't hurt either.
A passing familiarity with the following bands is a definite plus:

Swans
Eyehategod
Killdozer
Buzzov-en
Scratch Acid
Facedowninsh*t
The Birthday Party

Ahhh my god, Scratch Acid. Someone finally knows who they are. Would way rather listen to that than Jesus Lizard. A big influence on me.
